1. What Jack Fix It does
Jack Fix It helps homeowners describe a home problem and coordinates with independent professionals to address it. Jack Fix It is not a licensed contractor and does not perform the work itself.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including the service address and contact details, and for keeping your account credentials secure.
3. Requests and scheduling
Submitting a request does not create a binding service agreement. Scope, timing and price are confirmed with you before work begins.
4. Independent professionals
Professionals are independent businesses responsible for their own licensing, insurance and workmanship. We vet the professionals we work with but do not employ them.
5. Content you upload
You keep ownership of the photos, videos and descriptions you send. You grant us permission to use them for the purpose of handling your request.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Jack Fix It is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from work performed by an independent professional.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service grows. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
